My Hero Academia season 6 will rise to the top in the fall of 2022

The release window for the upcoming sixth season of My Hero Academia anime was revealed Sunday during Shueisha’s Jump Festa ’22 event. The film will premiere in Fall 2022, with a new trailer giving fans an expanded look at what to expect.

The sixth part will cover the events of Arc “Mystical Liberation War”, runs from chapters 253-306. The anime began adapting the arc at the end of season 5.

Studio Bones is returning to work in the upcoming season, with director Kenji Nagasaki, screenwriter Yōsuke Kuroda, composer Yuki Hayashi, and character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi all expected to return.

Nagasaki also directed in 2013 Gundam Build Fighters cartoon, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhoodand served as director of all three My Hero Academia movie. Kuroda has been in the industry for over 25 years and worked together with Nagasaki on Gundam Build Fighters also write scripts for Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and Goblin Slayer.

Hayashi has made a number of anime, TV series, and live-action films, most notably in 2021. King Shaman and Pokemon cartoon. Umakoshi is known for his work in 1997 Berserk anime, Mushishi, and Saint Seiya Omega.

Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2014. The series has 32 volumes collected and published in English by VIZ Media. The manga has inspired three spin-off series.

My Hero Academia: Smash !! by Hirofumi Neda serialized in Shōnen Jump + magazine from 2015-2017, with 5 collected volumes. Yōkō Akiyama’s My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions began serialization in 2019 in Shueisha’s Saikyō Jump magazine and has published 2 volumes to date. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and drawn by Betten Court. The series began serialization in Jump GIGA and is currently serialized in Shōnen Jump +. The manga has been around since 2016 and has collected 12 volumes during its release so far. VIZ Media publishes all three spin-offs in English.
